Since 1987 Positive Workforce has placed more than 40,000 workers on major construction sites in New York City. Today, the organization continues to monitor construction projects citywide to ensure equitable employment opportunities for all workers. For nearly four decades, Positive has built an impressive infrastructure: successful job placements, a directory of more than 1,000 developers and contractors, and a database of over 15,000 program participants. The organization operates more than 10,000 square feet of training space, offering job training, placement services, and wraparound services.
