Positive Workforce joins El Museo del Barrio for the January 6, 2026 Three Kings Day Parade in East Harlem, where participants volunteer to support parade logistics and help distribute toys to families at La Marqueta on East 116th Street.

An event that began as a way to support out‑of‑work and seasonal participants has grown to serve more than 300 families each year. The celebration features a toy giveaway, live music, hot food, and activities for children, creating a joyful and supportive space for the community during the holiday season.

Positive Workforce partnered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace and The Lowe’s Foundation in August 2025 to host New York City’s first‑ever Bed Build, where more than 100 volunteers came together to build 50 beds for children in need.

Positive Workforce partners with developers, contractors, union delegates, community‑based organizations, and local leaders to host job and resource fairs at our facility—and we actively participate in fairs across the city to connect our members with meaningful employment opportunities.

Positive Workforce supports the National Puerto Rican Day Parade Scholarship Fund, helping create educational and career opportunities for minority young men and women.

Positive Learning Center graduates came together to build a one‑of‑a‑kind product display for a local entrepreneur—turning a neighbor’s vision into something real, handcrafted, and full of heart.
